MUSIC: Oasis

Oasis, one of the leading rock groups of recent years, was formed in Manchester (England), with brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, influenced for the music of the Stones Roses. While Liam liked football more than music, Noel learned to play the guitar very young, playing Beatles songs.
After a concert by the Stones Roses, Noel met one of the group members 'Inspiral Carpets', with whom he toured as a coach, traveling around the world.

Meanwhile, in Manchester, his brother Liam had joined two friends, as vocals, to form a small group. Their results were quite poor, while Noel, after seeing them performing live, he decided to join them to try to elevate this group. By then already called 'Oasis'.
In 1993 signed with the record Oasis 'Creation' and 'Sony'. In 1994 released their first single, 'Supersonic', initiating what would become his first album 'Definitely Maybe', which became a bestseller. All songs written by Noel Gallagher

A year later published the second album by Oasis '(What's The Story) Morning Glory? ', that quickly positioned as number one and gives them several awards. They perform several concerts in England, with massive assistance of fans, which increases its popularity.

In 1997 Oasis released a new album, 'Be Here Now', that renews its successes.
After years of forced retirement for the personal differences between the Gallagher brothers, reappear in 2005 for the album "Do not Believe the Truth", which can be, to many, one of the best work of Oasis.
In 2008 Oasis released their seventh album, an album entitled "Dig Out Your Soul". The new album of Oasis was recorded at Abbey Road studios in London and was subsequently mixed in Los Angeles. "Dig Out Your Soul" includes 11 tracks, most notably "The Turning", "The Shock Of The Lightning", "(Get Off Your) High Horse" and "To Be Where There's Life".
